Simeon Boikov states “this is a most influential person - in the church, in the state and in society” Simeon Boikov’s mentor Father Tikhon Shevkunov and Russian President Vladimir Putin. He credits his transformation in particular to Father Tikhon Shevkunov of the Stretensky Monastery. His father is a Russian Orthodox Priest and Boikov cites his Russian Orthodox faith as a central part of his Cossack identity. Simeon Boikov was born in 1990 to a Russian speaking household in the Sydney suburb of Cabramatta, New South Wales, Australia.
